I finally went back to the Y yesterday morning, after my way-too-long-"I just had a baby" sabbatical. I was in better shape as a 9-months-pregnant lady than I've been for the past 5 months...
But no more! Yesterday I ran a couple of miles on the treadmill, but this morning I was brave enough to join a class, and I ended up doing 60 minutes of squats, kicks, punches & push ups.

Now I can barely move, but if I recover by tomorrow morning I plan to try out a dance aerobics class and learn a few moves to make Ben proud. (He lowered his standards by marrying a girl who doesn't dance.)

This week I've also found a video that shows you how to work on your tummy/torso -- and the instructor, Nicole, seems so nice that I want to do it.

We'll see how committed I am to this. Feel free to hold me accountable.

Woohoo for the dancing! Do they use a pole? I've heard that some dance aerobics classes use poles. Ahem. I have been waking up early to use the Wii Fit to work out. It seems like that's the only way I'll do it. Good for you for getting out of the house!

Well, I'll have to wait till next Thursday to see if they use poles. I was too sore to go today -- I decided to just stretch myself out with a nice, brisk walk.

I wish I lived in Montgomery so we could go together! I've been trying to exercise more, but it's very hard for me without a partner. Robert and I have talked about working out together though, so maybe that'll happen.
